Affiliation & Accreditation

“Get the recognition you are longing for”

IAHP plays the role of Affiliating and Private Accrediting agency for those who provide services in psychology.

The service provider must lodge an application for accreditation or affiliation with IAHP in the year before the service provider wants to be accredited / affiliated.

After receiving and reviewing the application, IAHP sends a team of assessors to the service provider to conduct a comprehensive review of the service provider and the services in psychology that it offers.

A site visit report is prepared and an assessment made based on the information provided by the service provider and the observations of the assessors included in the site visit report.

The onus is on the service provider to demonstrate that it meets the Accreditation/ Affiliation Standards.

This assessment process is repeated on a five year cycle, although the service provider and their services can be audited at any time. “New services” introduced between assessments, “changes to services” since the last assessment and “complaints received” by IAHP can result in accreditation assessments being conducted within the five year cycle.

Interested associations or organizations or institutions or any other service providers can contact IAHP Director at dir@iahp.in
