Would you like to do volunteer work in the field of psychology during your holidays?


An effort, as small as spending time helping others, can go a long way in bringing change in the lives of many. The sheer feeling of accomplishment or joy that you get by lending a helping hand to people and organizations can be quite overwhelming.

We at IAHP Volunteering, provide you with the opportunity to participate in projects dealing with psychology. We aim to provide psychological services to the poor, school children and the needy and require your support for doing so. These projects will not only help the less fortunate but also help you as a volunteer to experience what you have learnt, to experience the difference you can make on these people, to know another culture, may be another language and make new friends for life.

IAHP volunteering programs are limited to those who have studied psychology only. Others are not encouraged.

Steps to Volunteering

The following steps will guide you through the application process:

Step 1

Email at info@iahp.in for the current opportunities. Discuss with the Coordinator about the services you can offer and places you can move. If you don’t find an opportunity that interests you, place a request to the coordinator, describing the type of opportunity you desire.

Step 2

Wait for us to contact you to inform you of the availability of your selected opportunity and to provide you with further information.

Step 3

Fill out the application form once you have decided whether or not you want to volunteer with us.

Based on this form and the information you provide, we will create a customized volunteer experience for you.

Step 4

Provide an advance payment prescribed by the coordinator with the application form. We will start developing volunteering opportunities only when we have received your fee. We charge an upfront fee to encourage only serious applicants to apply and so as not to raise the expectations of our partner organizations.

Step 5

Choose the placement that you like and start preparing to go to the place you wish to volunteer.
